The Children’s Shelter – FITNP2 Members taught five sessions to school age children about bullying, friendship, and self-esteem. The children were given friendship bracelets, candy, and games. The organization sponsored Chic-Fil-A for sixty-three kids.
The Strong Foundation – The organization sponsored Kidz Times multiple times throughout the years. Also, the organization sponsored snacks, provided mentorship and play time with the kids that lived at the facility while their parents took life classes. Throughout the years the organization has donated over fifty pillows and sheet sets, hygiene products, toy drives, detergent, Clorox wipes, clothing, shoes, perfume, bathe balls, toilet paper, storage bags, baby items, cleaning supplies, shampoo, baby products, razors, Apartment Starter Baskets,
Family Violence and Prevention Services, Battered Women & Children’s Shelter – The organization sponsored a birthday party for seventy-five children at the shelter which included food, games, party bags, prizes and two hired characters. In addition to that the organization donated 5 Apartment Starter Baskets, sponsored a Fall Fest Face Painting Booth, treats, donated and 10 Halloween Costumes.
SAMMinistries – The organization sponsored Women’s Day for the past two years for ladies that lived at the facility. Also, the organization provided hygiene products, makeovers, nails, hairstyles, childcare and sponsored a resident’s daughter for prom. In addition, the organization provided slightly used clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, and shades. This past year the organization donated Mary Kay makeup, body lotions, perfume, breakfast, and canvas prints to paint. In addition, the organization donated eighty-six coats.
Genesis Battered Women & Children’s Shelter (Dallas, TX) – The organization donated eighty coats and sponsored a 4-course hot meal for the women and children at the shelter three times over the past year. In addition, the organization donated thirty-two packs of Reign Sanitary Napkins.
A New Life For A New Generation – A monetary donation to purchase diapers and wipes of $500. In addition, the organization donated fifteen cases of diapers. The organization donated (10) $5 gift cards and three bags of candy for the Trick or Treat Festival.
Christmas Blessing Donation – The organization donated baby clothes, three cases diapers, one case baby wipes, bin, and baby products to a single parent.
Non-Profit Community Health Expo – The organization sponsored a Community Health Expo to highlight the services and programs nonprofits in the area offer to the community.
FITNP2 Vet Chat Meet & Greet Family Style – The organization sponsored a Vet Chat meet and greet meeting to kick off the support group initiative for Veteran women.
FITNP2 Vet Chat Peer Support Group (Mindful Practices) – On June 18, 2022, the organization sponsored a Vet Chat Peer Support Meeting to help them learn how to cope with stress and anxiety for Veteran women.
FITNP2 Vet Chat Peer Support Group (Resume Writing) – On July 16, 2022, the organization sponsored a Vet Chat Peer Support Meeting to help veteran women with resume writing tips.
FITNP2 Vet Chat (Veteran Women Health & Wellness Retreat) – On August 06, 2022, the organization sponsored a Vet Chat Peer Support Meeting to help them relax and reset their minds and bodies.
FITNP2 Vet Chat (Veteran Women Peer Support Group Lunch Mixer – Financial Literacy) – On September 08, 2022, the organization sponsored a Vet Chat Peer Support lunch and learn mixer to help women prepare for the unexpected with a focus on financial literacy presented.
FITNP2 Vet Chat Peer Support Group – (Painting With A Twist Mixer)– On October 08, 2022, the organization sponsored a Vet Chat Peer Support Painting with a Twist mixer where women came together and tapped into their creative sides while socializing, laughing, and making memories.
FITNP2 Vet Chat Peer Support Group – (Affirmations to Rise Above, Social & Mental Well-being) – On November 12, 2022, the organization sponsored a Vet Chat Peer Support meeting to help veteran women care for their social and mental health.
