FITNP2 Vet Chat
FITNP2 Vet Chat is to improve the quality of life for women veterans, help build a network of friends and intimate relationships, and provide the framework for a strong social support system based on a common bond of military service.

Vet Chat will provide peer support within a monthly meeting setting and provide an opportunity for women veterans to share knowledge based on personal military experiences. -
Through this program you will be equipped with critical coping skills, financial literacy, socialization skills, resume writing and community resources. In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend friendship mixers. -
This program will provide another platform for women benefiting from our services to have positive social connections, increase self-esteem, and encourage self-awareness during monthly events. The organization will provide childcare, if needed, to remove potential barriers in participation. -
At the end of each fiscal year, participants in the Vet Chat program will be invited to the Annual Women’s Veteran Social Well-Being Retreat to celebrate their commitment and achievements in the Program. Barriers to participation will be addressed by the organization by providing child-care and specific fundraisers/sponsorships to cover travel arrangements and costs for each participant.
